At LAD, growth is powered by people – a principle exemplified by Carol Deacon’s promotion to Senior Vice President of Driveway & GreenCars in July 2022.
As the leader of LAD’s national e-commerce brands, Carol will take personal ownership of developing, prioritizing, and executing the vision and strategy of the two platforms as they move into the next phase of development and scale.
She will also expand and elevate our plans to increase online-retail readiness across all operational levels of our physical network – ensuring we fuel and forge new relationships with customers who are looking for an alternate channel for their personal transportation needs.
As part of Carol’s responsibilities, she will collaborate with several key department leaders to leverage and support the 2025 Plan to achieve $50 billion in revenues and more than $55 in EPS.
Carol’s success as Vice President of LAD Strategic Operations, and her performance-driven results at the Toronto-based Pfaff Automotive Group (acquired by LAD in 2021), make her uniquely suited for her new role. In addition, Carol brings a tenured background in corporate strategy and change management at McKinsey & Company, and in digital retail and consumer loyalty transformation at Canadian Tire, one of Canada's largest retailers with over 500 independently owned and operated stores.
