In honor of National Intern Day (July 31), we’d like to give a big shout-out to our summer interns from the Home Office in Medford, Oregon, for their hard work and positive energy during this year’s “Fun in the Sun” Day for the Rogue Valley Boys & Girls Club at Talent Elementary School. Over 200 children attended this year’s event.
For the past seven years, Lithia & Driveway has sponsored this “Fun in the Sun” Day, which offers kids a variety of engaging activities and tasty treats.
Every year, our interns help set up/cleanup, as well as host, the various stations—such as a dunk tank and ice cream stand—all to create smiles and happy, summertime memories.

“The ‘Fun in the Sun’ Day is pure summer magic for our Club kids,” noted Jessica King, CEO of the Rogue Valley Boys & Girls Club, “The excitement the LAD intern team brings each year creates unforgettable memories. It’s a highlight of the kids’ summer and a reminder that their community cares about them.”
Way to go, interns! Your shining example to Have Fun while supporting others inspires the rest of us.
