Honda and Acura’s Green Dealer Program is designed to help dealers reduce their environmental footprint. In partnership with the manufacturer, dealers receive expert assessment and support to implement the most effective practices and proven technologies that help reduce energy and water use, reduce waste, lower costs, and understand their ongoing investment. The net result is not only cost savings, but significant energy savings as well.
Honda and Acura Green Dealers take actions to measurably reduce their impact, and environmental targets are increased year over year. Green Dealers are using LED lighting in facilities and parking lots, upgrading HVAC equipment and insulation to exceed regional standards, and making renewable energy investments such as solar panels.
Every Honda and Acura dealer in the LAD network participates in the Green Dealer Program. Together with the manufacturer, they are helping Honda and Acura achieve their goal of carbon neutrality by 2050 – and helping LAD achieve its own carbon-reduction targets.
