LAD launched a number of internal green initiatives for team members in September under the banner of the company’s annual Green Week. The initiatives were targeted at educating staff on how best to embrace the sustainability revolution at our stores, in our business – and in their own lives.
Three company-wide webinars introduced staff to the growing green car space; provided best practices for dealerships looking to maximize their potential with green drivers; and offered advice for sustainable practices in everyday life.
Panelists included Carol Deacon, Senior Vice President for Driveway and GreenCars; industry pundit Charlie Vogelheim, an expert on the sustainable-driving space; and leaders from across the LAD network in sales, service, and bodyshop operations.
As well, a “Grow Green” social media contest was launched to celebrate green scenes in team members’ lives.
