Giving Back to Our Communities

All LAD dealerships are committed to giving back to the communities they call home. Over the years, they have generously participated in their communities through sponsorships, donations, and events that have helped their neighbors and spread awareness for many good causes.

DCH Millburn Audi, based in Maplewood, NJ, is a prime example.

In Q4 2022, DCH Millburn Audi donated $5,000 to the Maplewood Library to support the purchase of books, media, and new educational innovations for toddlers. The dealership also sponsored Maplewood stock, a free two-day festival of local music and arts.

As the colder months approached, DCH Millburn Audi also participated in the SOMA Shares coat drive – where freshly-laundered or gently-used winter coats, boots, hats, gloves and snow pants were donated by employees and their families, friends, and neighbors. The donations helped to meet the urgent needs of students and families across the entire South Orange andMaplewood School District.

The store also participated in theMaplewood Police Department’s annual Christmas gift drive in partnership with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency Services (DCPP). DCPP provides an organized list of children and teens that have been misplaced from their homes.

Team members at the LAD home office inMedford, OR, are also committed to giving back.

In November, LAD partnered with Access – a non-profit organization with a mission of providing food, warmth, and shelter to vulnerable members of our community – for their annual Food & Fund Drive. Employees raised enough funds and food to provide20,000 meals for families in need over the holiday season.

And in December, home office employees participated in the CASA Giving Tree – a fundraiser to aid in CASA of Jackson County’s mission to provide support to underprivileged children who have been removed from their families and homes due to abuse and neglect. The company donated $10,000, and employees contributed over $3,000 in both funds and gifts.
